I use AQuote, the premium has always been reasonable and they were excellent when I had a prang!  :y

MCE - Rang them, gave 'em a bunch of details, transferred me, to someone at other company who started asking same ones again? Point I asked? Pour line so hung up.

Hastings Direct - Quite a lot more, looking at £550

Going to try Bennetts....

Bennetts wanted £550 too, so think I will be accepting the renewal!

As posted recently - it is really getting below the headline rates these online insurers quote.

You take your bike abroad I think - does your insurance cover this and for how many days, is your NCB protexted, legal cover etc. Make sure you compare like with like.

I have just renewed with Admiral Multicar . I thought I had found good rates elsewhere but all the extras meant there was little difference and some quite bad reports about claims handling from the cheaper quotes.

I've not taken it abroad yet, but I'd like to. All quotes so far have included green card cover, for up to 90 days at a time.

Decided to accept the renewal, also discovered I get NCB protection as well, they also dropped it another £5.

Also I asked for a call back at 6:30, they called me bang on this time.

No complaints really, no charge for paying in full. Never had any issues with Express Insurance, they are a broker who are putting me with MarkerStudy for the second time.

My BIL is 52 and has an  R1200 - he pays £200 pa for insurance - do not think he has any NCB as just bought the bike and did not have one before

I know the angry fat man's policy is not even into 3 figures. But then again he is old..... and fat  ;D
Just renewed with same company as last year, didn't even bother ringing around...  ...just shy of £55 fully comp, no breakdown (have that elsewhere). There is a time limit on Europe though, 90 days rings a bell, but not really interested.

I've been well pleased with Swinton (Bikes) over the last four years. Each renewal has been cheaper than the previous.
