scrapping wheels £?

How much are people getting when weighing alloys in? been quoted £1 per kilo, any idea how much they weigh, mfl elite ones that is

I weighed my MFL Elite wheels in a few weeks back. They weighed 38kgs  :y  :y ........... I was then told that I should've removed the balance weights first  ::) ::)
and I got £1 per kilo for them  :y

I was getting £44 for 4 CDX alloys just before Christmas but they had to be clean ie no tyre and the weights removed ;)

Get a lump hammer and chisel and knock the steel ferral out before you weigh them in.
Some scrapys get a bit arsey if you leave them in  ;)

I was quoted 8 quid a wheel last month

I've got the use of an old manual tyre remover, that keeps you fit i'll tell you ;D
