Rear Shocks

I have just had delivered what should be a pair of Anschler shocks from Car Parts For Less, one is longer than the other? Am I being stupid or is one supposed to be longer than the other or have CPFL got it wrong? the car is an Omega 2.2 02 CD Manual?

Okay, so Im a plum, just opened the two different boxes (one box 6" longer than other) took shocks out which are strapped down, and compared them, then thought I wonder cut the bandings off pumped them a few times and they are the same length, why did they do that?? and why didnt I check first  :-[

Self levelling? They don't normally strap down shocks unless they are for self leveling suspension.

ha.ha..i used to sell garage tools and equipment...and had a delivery of tools and found that there were 12 spanners missing..so i phoned up and reported it..are you sure they asked ...of coarse i am i insisted...they sent me replacements free of charge....only to find as i went to put the box out for rubbish that it had a false layer of card in the bottom that was the identical size of the box...oopps....so flaming stupid........and yes i did tell the tool supplier and paid for them...
