Local petrol station to me is out of diesel and out of normal unleaded. Only had super unleaded at £145.9 per litre.

Had to buy it as nearly out. And I filled a jerry can  In fairness need the fuel for the bike and the angle grinder this weekend, not panic buying honest.

Same here, forecourt completely coned off. It's obviously causing long queue's at the next nearest fuel station. On the plus side, I didn't have to queue to get my newspaper.

LPG availability won't be too badly affected, BUT if the garage selling it runs out of conventional unleaded/diesel fuels, they may well close up shop

Computers showing 11 miles range so thought I'd fill up just now on way home. Bloody two garages have long queues full of retarded freakazoids waiting for fuel. Not waiting in a queue. I'll go to a 24hr garage when the retards are in bed. Talk about sheep.

Drove around x4 local fuel stations today to see if anyone was panic buying, seems almost everyone was

24Hrs ago I top-up my tank, no more than normal, half a tank and not going mad and filling up to the brim, and I had a number of pumps to choose from as all garages were doing normal trade.

However, today it was like fuel had become worth more than gold, several roads were almost becoming impassable due to loads of idiots panic buying over what is "a possible threat" of no delivery.  And the so called idiots of today have gone and ended up drying up the fuel pits of most local stations, causing a 'self-induced' short supply and inconvenience to everyone else now.  Which of course is going to cause even more problems?

Goodness knows if the emergency services have been able to fill up their vehicles, if the likes of the ambulance and fire service cannot get to an emergency due to this needless panic situation, let’s hope there isn't going to be a nightmare situation of them having to decide if they can use a vehicle and be able to get to the said emergency

My feeling is that there may well be a 'strike', but I reckon it'll be before the next week end's bank holiday, what better time than to do it when most want to go away.

I don't know, I wonder if people think / use common sence anymore

i filled up last night at the local morrisons,9.15 pm,on 2 cars on the forecourt...easy peesy....
swmbo has gone down now to fill the astra,as its on empty ,just before 9pm an said its chaos...

I wish I'd gone and filled the MR2 now, it was fairly quiet last night here, too.. ah well  Got half a tank to burn through anyway, and 3/4 in the Omega, assuming it continues to run (it really, really struggled to start earlier )
