  hi guys, mico here, would a 3.2 eng fit right in to ware my 2.6 was ,or will there need to be mod done to the biger eng cos mine wont stop leaking oil and maybee thinking of a recon eng like a 3.2 auto,any advice.

cant see why not,might have to change the ecu tho or have it on tech 2,it is something im thinking off in the future if my 2.6 gives up

dont know if 2.6 gearbox would handle torque of 3.2???

dose anyone know ware i could get a 3.2or 2.6 recon engien from im up here in snowy edinburgh and im realy needing help with this car dont want to get rid of it cos i love the blody thing the rest of the mig is good  at least it wont rust undereath anyway eye could someone help thanks.

A 3.2 will destroy an AR25 auto box in short order, so be sure to change that as well. Will need the torque converter from the 3.2 as well. Diff ratio will also be wrong. Might as well just buy a 3.2 IMHO.

Where is the oil leak from, any ideas ?. It might be an easier fix than swapping an engine plus all the extra work.

Mine had a leak from the camshaft oil seals, making oil pour down the front of the engine. It was not difficult to change them, I was doing a cambelt change at the same time, so fairly easy.
