What is this Pipe for

As per the title What is this pipe for. I was trying to sort out my no heat problem and have found this pipe it goes inbetween the HM pipes then dissapears behind the block

Now also you can see in the picture (just) that the top hose seems to be off of the HM abit more than the bottom hose both pipes are getting warm but i still have cold/luke warm air in the car i have tried pushing it back on with no avail the clip also seems loose to me any help much appreciated :y ;D :D

Autobox breather hose. What did you do, spill a pot of paint over it ::) :D

Looks like you have a nest of seagulls under your bonnet  ;D ;D ;D

Pipe is the breather from your automatic gearbox...it doesn,t connect to anything ..make sure its secured at the back of the engine with the end facing downwards to stop water getting in it. :y

Cheers bud still no heat in the car anyone any ideas please and no no seaguls a twazzer got a grudge and decided to repaint my car
