Thinking about this . . . was it a "private" buy ?    you have only had it a week, you have to put your address onto the old V5 which the previous owner then sends off to DVLA for you receive a new one

Has only to have a spare key ( possible even if you got 2 keys with it )

He /she only has to hold back a key & give it & your address to someone he knows & they go around to yours unlock car & drive away.

Never thought of this scenario before . . ..    bit worrying eh? :o :o :o :o :o

It certainly is, partly why I prefer to buy a car from a garage, but not exclusively and less likely with cheaper cars, I do hope that the OP finds his car in good order.... :y :y

Use East London to access London all the time, will keep my eyes peeled, although guessing its on different Plates by now or locked away somewhere, I take it the Police checked the National Data base just in case its been lifted by some Organisation.

Really glad that you've found your car!!  :y :y :y

I wonder why they nicked a Mig? Afterall if you're going to go to those lengths to nick a car, surely you'd go for a more valuable motor??  ???

Very odd, was it taken due to parking or something? Omega's are worth sod all & not very desirable to make vast amounts of money on it. So very odd why someone go to that much trouble  :-\

Nice to hear someone got one back for a change. Still can't get my head round stealing Migs, there are easier cars to TWOC with more profit.  :-\
