air leak somewhere on tractor mig
« on: 17 April 2012, 21:41:56 »

Got a problem wth starting.
When you try to start the car when it hasn't been driven for a day it starts and then it dies out after half a second.
Then you must press the throttle peddal and it will start after a couple of seconds of reving.
Apparently air is getting into the system and the fuel returns to the tank after the car was left for a while. Now I need to find the damn air leak.
Suggestions where to look first would be appreciated.
Also one thing to ask is if it is the fuel pump leaking somewhere how diificult is it to replace the gaskets on it by myself or it is better left to a mechanic to do it?
