i must have a twin at home
« on: 19 April 2012, 17:02:34 »

As i have a lodger,i always keep my house phone in my bedroom, checked my bill online and there was a call made on the 27th march at 8am,to natwest bank,so a quick txt to my team leader i asked for the time i started work and got home, van has a tracker fitted to  :y,i left home at 7am and home at 3.30 pm,so there is no way i could make that call, asked lodger if he had made the call and totaly denied it,do people really think its acceptable to act like this,he wont be staying here for much longer and is also in arrears on his rent already  >:(

If you bank with NatWest I'd be checking to make sure he has not accessed YOUR account...

it is always possible that you have inadvertently left your access data around and if he is tight for money ???? ........

but then I'm just a very suspicious person ......   :)

Many many years ago SWMBO was at work & several others in the office had had problems phoning out from the office in Pompey to the other side of the harbour ie Gosport & Fareham, so SWMBO said I'll try our house & see if it rings! It was engaged ..... I was at sea!!  ??? ??? ??? We used to have keys for another flat in the block & they had keys for ours! Needless to say she got our keys back that night .............   this was in the days before itemised bills ;)  ;)

Its why I dont have lodgers any more, i used to and some were good, but then some would be late with rent, take the piss with food, never clear up etc, i did put a lock on my door but then decided I wasnt going to live like that in my home so ive not had any since i moved. if you need to have them for the income, basicly they are all always going to take the piss, get referances and CHECK them, make sure the rent in advance and a decent deposit, more likely to look after it then.
