Stuck Spark Plug
« on: 20 April 2012, 10:12:38 »

Serviced Mig yesterday with help from maintenance guides - thanks to authors.  Could not remove 1 spark plug and wasn't keen to apply too much pressure in case stripped thread in head.  Any clever ideas anyone?

Plusgas or similar down the thread, leave it to soak in. Then apply some more, use a fairly long bar so you can gently increase the pressure, don't go yanking on the end of it though :y

Failing that, get engine up to temp then try to remove plug

WD40 is no use as a penetrating lubricant. Use Plus Gas. :y
