even the police have customer surveys
« on: 21 April 2012, 12:16:10 »

wifey just had her car broke into last night did quite a bit of damage unfortunatley ,anyway we must have one of the most approachable and politest policeman in the area

very good with wifey etc top marks

at the end of all the reports etc he produced a cutomer survey card to fill in etc. wtf why do we put the police in the line of fire you could put what you wanted to on the form and get the bloke in some trouble

addmitedly not always a fan of the police more to do with individuals than the police as a whole.but do they really need a customer survey that can be so open to abuse and missuse

A suspicious person might link the two highlighted bits together  ;)  ;D ;D........but I won't as I take each individual on their own merits.  ;)  No offence intended to serving and ex officers of the law.

You're quite right to do so 250 :y

All the appendages to the modern way of policing are questionable to some extent or other.  As a probationer constable I grasped a very simple truth - treat people like shite (as a rule) and they'll bite you; treat them in a professional manner with polite but firm (when required) respect and you have the chance of dealing with any matter without bloodshed or drama.

It's hardly brain surgery after all - treat people as you would wish them to treat you:  No need for surveys or other trendy tools designed mainly to satisfy those angst ridden managers concerned for their promotion prospects and pensions and other neophytes, in the art of practical psychology, digging around in areas light-years away from professional policing.
