Randomness of British Weather
« on: 29 April 2012, 09:15:15 »

This weekend in 2011, I had stolen borrowed mother T's Estate & was heading to Cornwall with some mates for a weeks camping. As my 2.2 at the time, decided it wanted a new exhaust on the day of departure  ::)

We got sun burn't that week  :o  ;D

So far this weekend its not stopped raining  :(

Yeah, I was supposed to be doing a fluid change on a Morgan yesterday, as the forecast had a few hours of dry weather.  But the puddles were quite deep, so I didn't fancy it. Rescheduling.

Should add, when I was in Somerset in March, the weather was dry and quite warm (the breeze had a chill though).  Last year in March, I have photos of our holiday to Tenby where we are all outside having a picnic in t-shirts.

You doing that in Brackley? I've got loads of jobs building up, light service on all 3 Omega's, Lambda sensor, exhaust and fatherT's cam belt.

Waiting for weekend I have off + decent weather

At least with a V6 and gearbox in the van, he won't get blown away on the way home ;D

Shouldn`t be too long, just the downpipes, front prop and engine mounts to release now then it`ll be out

It hasnt stopped raining here since the hosepipe ban was introduced 3 weeks ago.we even had a tornado a couple of days ago which caused over £100,000 of damage to buildings on a local farm.Rain has been torrential the last 24 hours.roads into the village flooding from river bursting its banks.
I have a few cosmetic touches to do to the CDX estate before putting it up for sale,I have an exhuast to fit to my bike, then some cosmetic stuff to do to it before putting it up for sale and then I have a long list of jobs to do to my Omega - cant do any of it due to the bloody weather. Not happy at all. :'(

SWMBO is at the East Anglian Game & Country Fair today and it hasn't stopped raining yet AFAICT ::)

I'm having severe motivational issues... Should be doing some things around the house but can't be arsed ::)

Still, at least I haven't got to drag a watering can around the garden at the moment ::)

Just watched MOTOGP now going to watch some BTCC, and probably turn over to Eurosport at 3pm to watch Cookstown 100 - unless wife gets to breaking point of watching bloody motorbikes & cars going round in circles. ::) ;D

A house up the road has been having work done to the roof, and the roofers have covered it with a tarp.  The tarp flew off in the night!! Ooops!!  :o
