It is amazing all those that hate football, but still want to comment on it. If it is not your cup ot tea then don't post a stupid comment about it, simple.

After all it seems to be the same people who told me not to comment on threads that don't interest me, that are now doing the exact same thing.

Consistency eh, you can't beat it.

The only comment I'll make is that I think those are very fair comments Manta. :-* :-* :y

I also consider that comment to be a very fair comment C. ;D ;D :-*

In the interests of full disclosure, I'm obliged to state that I have zero interest in football or indeed in any other type of sporting activity - but then I'm an odd big bastid. :-X

That was Graham "Do I not like that?" Taylor :y  and I think they may have given the turnip (or some other vegetable!) treatment to Sven "Any hole's a goal!" Goran Eriksson as well!!  ;D ;D

Harry Redknapp is a 'Wide boy'. He may have dodged a bullet with the taxman but I don't think the FA need any more allegations coming to light.

England are a joke, with a fool to manage them whoever it may be, a load of overpaid, overbloated egos and no commitment. All a player does is want to be selected to up his next transfer fee. ;) ;)
I would let Physco be the manager and he would only allowed to select players fron the Championship or below, that woulds see some commiment. :y :y
i like that  ;D ;D ;D

The FA are very aptly named as with their current setup that is all England will win in the next 20 years.  >:( >:( >:(

Woy has proven at Liverpool that he can't handle big club football with big players with even bigger egos, he will be even more out of his depth with England. Now what big trophy's has the teams he has managed won?

15 years ago in cycling Britain was nowhere, so they set up a special division to coach and manage the best of the UK talent, using the best techniques and practices their competitors were using, since then they have become a real force on the world stage. Where is the FA equivalent?

Until the FA wake up and smell the coffee with things like a winter break (like Germany have), special academies etc, the England team are going to remain the trophy less bunch of amateurs that they are compared with the very best teams they are competing against.

Sad to say, but I gave up on the English football team and them winning anything along time ago. If they make the quarter finals in any competition, I think they have done as well or better than expected. Several of the top Premiership teams are better than England.  :o :o :o
