Windscreen washer woes
« on: 30 April 2012, 18:16:47 »

Hi All,
The drivers side washer is great on our Elite but there is nothing coming from the passenger side. I have poked a pin into the jets to check they are clear, no difference  :'(
There are no wet patches around the psaaenger underside of the bonnet so don't think it is a split pipe either.
The MOT is due so need to find a fix quickly.
Thanks

As, IIRC, the drivers side tees from passenger, it has to be a blocked nozzle  :-\

How do I remove the washer jet to give it a good check over?

How do I remove the washer jet to give it a good check over?

Squeeze the two tabs on the under side of the jet together & gently lever if from the bonnet.

Before removing jet get a hair dryer up there to soften the two retaining tags or else they are prone to snap off  ;)
