Whilst I don't have much time for Rupert Murdoch, I find it astonishing that the Parliamentary Committee can (albeit by a 6-4 vote) say that he is "not a fit person" to run a major international company. That is a subjective, not objective, conclusion and reflects poorly on the independence of the committee. If it were proved in law that he knowingly colluded with phone hacking it would be a different story, as he would be guilty of an offence and would face criminal proceedings. It is not, however - and thankfully so - up to politicians to decide who is fit or not to run a company.

On the same subject, I find this story rather interesting: ::) ::)

Another poor day for our political system, I'm afraid.   :( :(

As someone says in the replies underneath the article "If Rupert had continued to support the Scottish window licker, none of this enquiry stuff would have happened". Very true.
