Interesting piece on these fires, not power sounders  ::)

Apparently 2009-2010 ones with derv engines, have issues with PAS pipework. It runs close to the DPF, if they leak the PAS fluid sprays/drips onto it and let be fire!

Must be a bit scary, potentially loosing power steering plus smoke/fire!

These DPF's do appear to be quite troublesome, no doubt stupid length oil changes don't help!

gets me that blokes car was only one month old!! and it had a leak and caught fire at least our miggs are at least 10 years old and done tons of miles and dont do this thankfully!

I seem to remember some of the early Migs had a similar problem, initially at least.
