is there any pics here on jacking/axle stand points

i have trolley jack
2 axle stands
2 ramps

today  i jacked up on wishbone and axle about  1 foot down where side bits come off skirt

i hated getting under car

need to do auto box fluid and h/b cable wanna get car well up but safe

Best place to support the weight of the car is on the triangular plates just in front of the rear wheels and on the front subframe as in the picture supplied.

Remember an Omega is a big heavy car so my advise is a good quality 3 ton jack with a large saddle and axle stands with a 3 ton loading aswell.

I sometimes put the stand or jack on the rear leg, as when you jack the triangular plate covering the donut bush it's awkward getting a stand in

Never jack on the dif, it will separate the dif to chassis bushes.

Wish someone would tell the dickhead mot tester at my local stealer >:( couldn't get thr car high enough to spin the rear wheels so he tried lifting the diff and couldn't understand why the jack was going up and the car wasn't ::).  The workshop foreman came over and gave him a right blokking before showing him how he should've done it ::)

It only went in there for mots, I only use them for parts now...
