she's all set to watch Vera at 8pm  . . . . but no Vera,       got Lewis instead.

Just come back from a commercial break & guess what title comes up to re introduce the programme  . .

yep      VERA . . .         sudden screen opologie from ITV    & back to Lewis ..

I believe "Vera" was pulled as it had references to Soldiers in Afghanistan in it, which after todays sad news was considered "insensitive" .. so pulled.

I expect the caption you just saw was simply pre-programmed and someone missed it ... was only up for a few seconds according to SWTSMBO

Believe you me, an awful lot of folks would like to destroy those fields..... but they are no-go item...

Why ? afaik half the worlds supply of heroin originates from there.Simple logic says destroy the poppy crop where they find it.

The Taliban use that money to buy arms which are used for terrorism, and to kill our troops
The money comes from western drug dealing gangsters.
The smack heads in the west get their supply funded by petty crime eg burglary etc.
Prostitution is in the main because of an addiction.

The U.N says we can't stop the source.

We (collectively speaking) are already oppsed due to the incompetence of our own government at Westminster but, as you rightly point out, when that fact is coupled with the debacle of the failing political experiment now being conducted on behalf of those faceless people in 'Brussels' eager to eradicate any form of independent thought throughout the continent, the outcome can never be one to inspire confidence in those who presently hold the reins of power.

Tie the foregoing to the aim of the UN to pervade all aspects of sovereign governance around the globe - in the pursuit of its own global influence - then we can see how things are shaping up to be a clusteropps to the house of oppression and government by diktat of those in the elite.

In my view the UN is an organisation peopled by those individuals who have been eager to divest themselves of the constraints and disadvantage of their own ‘disadvantaged’ countries in the desire to get (even) half their fat arses on the seat of power and plenty that has been carefully nurtured for their like at the UN.

In the UN we have an organisation led by wide-boys and sycophants well practiced in playing the global political game – all done with pious brow-furrowed concern - while collecting a handsome stipend for their ‘trouble’ and an organisation all to prepared to talk the talk only to be found woefully lacking when deeds are required to be done to back-up those lofty ideals and weighty words.

So, in short, we are governed by Lady bitss on behalf of Lady bitss who wish to join a global league of Lady bitss – Lady bitsish isn’t it.

Too late, their the current generation in charge at the UN and EU. 

Apparently, you get prior warning a UN operation is about to be conducted in a country, you can't get a first class hotel room anywhere.  They are all reserved for their officials.
