cruise control actuator.

hi there again, need some more help. are these controllers all different part numbers?
trying to source one from ebay.... loads about but not to sure if they are all compatable..
dumb question maybe...but then we dont know it all do we....
help please, thank you, :-\

Actuators are the same. Bowden cables have two different lengths dependent on whether short or long plenum fitted on V6

thankyou, im going to fit it on my 2,0l. do you think a long or short cable should do??

Would suggest that the first thing to check is that there actually is wiring on the strut top to connect it to as I recall reading on here somewhere that the 2 litres were not always fitting with the required wiring for some reason.

Only the CDX spec had it fitted. If OP`s is a lower spec will also need the bracket on the throttle body (hens teeth)

thanks, its got the bracket on the throttle body with the hole for the cable and the wiring on the strut top....

 :y it is a vauxhall not an opel...its now registered in france :y
