The air line from the compressor is a single pipe which is them T'd into two, one for each side. So if you damage the  piping anywhere along the length, it will affect both rear shockers.

Re the spacer tube. IIRC the washers need this tube to tighten up against, otherwise you'll just be squashing the rubber bush

Hummm crap! Means I need to disconnect it from above I guess, pull it down and refit that top stuff.

Yes, it's easy enough, I lost the lower washer on mine somehow, and replaced (thanks James :y) it leaving the lower bolt still in place.

Had a dig in the garage, found both spacers. Oddly, one is rusty as hell. The other is clean, and stuck fast in the washer. Guessing I'll cut it off....





Just trying the loose one in the garage its tight over old shock, thinking a soak in carb clearner. Not sure how else to clean up the inside, guess bit of grease help it slip on. (ooooo err  :o)

As Shackeng says, a quick going over with a file or bit of emery cloth & fit them.  :y

Got files, not sure have one slim enough to go inside though, think I'll tear off some sandpaper and a screwdriver, should clean it up enough  :)
