solenoids in ar25 box

 got these pic from a member on here can anyone identify which one does what. ie;1-2   2-3   3-4   4-od

Have one sitting here with the number Stamped on it. 183 0245 no1128 if that helps.

top pic is, lhs is the band apply solenoid,the two on the right are the 1-2 and 2-3 solenoids(interchangable)
bottom pic lhs,is the tc apply solenoid and the other is the force apply solenoid. now back to the sherberts...hic!!

So on the assumption that the gears " hang " changing from 3rd down to 2nd and on occasion the opposite way causing the thud that we both seem to be experiencing, it would be indicating that replacing the solenoid in the top picture R/H side would be the first course of action.

As both of these solenoids are the same they do an identical job ?

One controls the 2-3, t`other controls the 1-2 and 4-3, although both identical in manufacture

So safest bet is to remove both the existing from the box and replace with the set I have kindly been supplied with ??? assuming I don,t fancy spending £97=00 twice for 2 brand " Harry Spankers "  ;D
