I want the oil changing in the gearbox on the Jeep, it a 2.7 CRD engine and auto gearbox from Mercedes, is there anything special about doing this? can my local, good all rounder independent do this or do I need a Mercedes specialist, not main dealer?

No idea, I seem to recall reading there there is not, mostly...... I just have this niggling feeling that I have read that it is not so straight forward......

No idea, I seem to recall reading there there is not, mostly...... I just have this niggling feeling that I have read that it is not so straight forward......

I can't really see a reason why it shouldn't be  Have you asked on the MB forum?

If there is just a bung where there should be a dip stick it could be awkward,some of the Merc boxes are checked through the instrument cluster menu but dont think Jeep will do this
