Just had a call from swmbo, on her way to the caravan(Static) the red light has come on, she says the temp is normal so assuming alternator............any other options? looks like I am going to the caravan after all

Sorry Henry but unsure? car is 40 miles away, the way she spoke suggested battery light, but is their a warning light for the open sun roof, as the light has gone off when they closed the sun roof.....

Looking at chrisgixers add the battery light is orange, and I seem to remember the alternator going on a previous Mig and the speedo stopped working.......need the car home really. When she rang I told her to come back home but Miss Vamps and swmbo decided to carry on to the caravan (Static).....who knows what I will face on Sunday and her getting to work on Monday...............my argument for having a 'classic car' / 'toy' which could double as a spare car in such circumstances.......

I deal with the money in our house....... I keep saying we are overspending, she keeps spending......   It's a bit like saying i wear the trousers, when she Say's I can....., or more like miss Vamps......
