Brits are like Lemmings when the sun comes out Alfie, it happens so rarely, we feel an irresistable urge to jump in with both feet & bare chests!! ;D :y
On a more serious note though matey, go careful with the sun in case it comes back to bite you on the bum later in life :y

Have been jet skiing on the isle of wight this weekend and wore a full wetsuit the whole time and factor 40 all over face and neck.  Saw a few other people on skii's wearing just shorts and not even a bouyancy aid.  Seems some people will do anything for a tan!

In a previous life I was a bricklayer, in the good old days of no rules. I worked day in day out in very short shorts and trainers. I had a tan most people would be very envious of, especially as I was in my late teens early twentys.

Skip forward a few years I know have Lichen Planus all over my lower legs. They say it has nothing to do with the sun, I am not so sure as it started right on the leg that was once seriously sun burnt.

I know never take my shirt off, even in the hottest weather. I sit on a beach, or go in the sea/pool with a T shirt on. It looks weird and I am the only one who does it.

Skin conditions can be very frustrating, and just to make matters worse Lichen Planus ends in your genital region. Now is that sun tan worth it ?

That's good to hear AA. sadly I was young and foolish, and learnt the hard way. I also know there are people in a worse position than me.
