Insurance - Bucking the trend
« on: 31 May 2012, 23:55:12 »

Insurance due next week and having read some of the threads on here recently was expecting the worst.

Got quote from LV in the post yesterday and opened tonight £446  :) £100 less than last year - mmmmm

Did the directcomparetheadmiralselephantzone saga. Only cheapest 1 was £45 less by axa everything else well in to 500's and above

Result  :y £45 is a tank & 1/2 of LPG but "sod it" let it ride and self renew - no hassle - i'm such a "spend thrift"  ::). Anyway that £45 is going straight on my next quotes until I win one (hehe)

Hope you all have the same luck as me

Phil

(Andy B - still want that door doing - price is £45  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D)

Just received the renewal for the Bavarian Muck Wagon, £70 less than last year. A total of £300 with the 'legal cover' option :y :y

It is in the wife's name with Sheila's wheels. Seem much cheaper :) :)

Had a 2.2 astra coupe b4 I got my omega, was 1st insurance in my own name for around 8 yrs (always had company vehicles) most quotes were in the high 000's, got insured with chaucer direct for £440!!! Had the car for 6 months when an idiot pulled across in front of me and I t-boned him (no other choice). His insurance company took full blame, cars were both written off but I had the money for my car in my account within 1 week. Thought it was really quick and was very happy. Bought my omega and was expecting the insurance to go nuts but was only another £40. Much happy   :D  :y
