brake pads...
« on: 01 June 2012, 14:57:38 »

Hi all, I know it was mentioned a short time ago, but can't find the post :(

Need to check, but think my front brake pads are needing a change, what is the best but cheaper option please?

For 3.2 elite saloon.

TIA.

TC pads probably. £15, I think (going by what I've read here) TC pads on their own are ok but when they come as part of disc + pad set the squeal and have no feel. Mine, part of a disc/pad set started squealing after two weeks and are pants but my brake fluid needs changing.

If you're feeling flash, you can opt for OE pads @ £76  ???

Your welcome mate!   It was great meeting you and your better half.   I did mean to say thank you too for supplying me with the coffee that was much appreciated.

I did, he only has used mini facelift sets :(

Just have to hunt around.  When I left you I noticed that a low braking, it was starting to sound a little rough  ::)

Oh well, just general maintenance :o
