What do you think?
« on: 09 April 2008, 19:37:58 »

Evening all,

Wanted to ask a question, I have a 51 plate, 2.6 CD with leather trim, auto box, good condition, 76k approx on the clock.

What do you think it might be worth?

Is the car market suffering at the moment?

Cheers all,
Alan

What a question, I had to get off the couch, out the room, up the stairs, on to the landing, reach into the book case to get the black box, to get the log book.

oh the reg date is 01/09/01  :)

any good?

Well the tax man is not putting me off, would like a bigger engine car, I think that there may be more out there that are not that bothered, but \i could be really wrong on that one?

It'll still stick in my throat if I have to pay that, thinking that the road fund licence was for actually looking after the roads and trying to set up better public transport.

I think I'm starting to rant here so slighty off topic  ::)

As a ball park they are going for £2500 at the mo, however........

Yes people are not spending money so freely, so you may have to either haggle or wait for your price
A lot of that price will depend on service history, with 76k it is not long before it is due a cambelt change, if i was looking to buy i would be knocking you down £300 just for that alone, if it has had the cambelt and tensioner change and it is in good nick with history then it will sell, it may take some time though
