Off side head light keeps blowing.
« on: 11 June 2012, 19:39:08 »

Over a period of two years or so i've gone through three off side head light bulbs!!! Surely this not normal (not experienced this with another car).
The near side's been fine for all this time.
What with this & the door, I get the feeling Burt doesn't like me any more ;D

I should add that he doesn't get much use so I would expect the bulbs to last longer

check the plug to the bulb the pins may be a loose fit and arking the bulb., or even the plug where main wires gone in maybe a loose pin.

Vibration is a killer for incandescent lamps.

Is the head light unit secure? Is the lamp securely clipped into the reflector?
