The Pillock Brown - Again....
« on: 10 April 2008, 12:47:29 »

He stoops to a new low..

Int. Rates drop again - frankly its not enough to help the UK economy.

Bank of England cant/ wont drop it the amount needed as Brown wont let them ( dont believe that there Independant)

House prices fall but Brown says never mind they have risen for years  and years and worse things happen at sea.....

We all know how he is screwing us omega drivers on car tax...

We all know the state of schools, policeing, NHS, roads, immigration.

So what does Brown do when we are needing a strrong leader ?

It would appear that we can pull out all the stops to help other countries but not ours.
Remember when the canvassers call to ask for your vote in the forthcoming local elections, tell the Labour candidates what you think. And on polling day go and vote, don't just sit back, make the effort, vote for who you want, but remember all of the false broken promises Labour have made.I need not remind you of the dozens of stealth taxes that have been imposed on us, you can feel that in the purse/wallet/bank statement often enough.

True. And this lot are STILL issuing soundbites that they will use additional government borrowing to dig us out of the current mess. Borrowing was the cause of the mess we're in. How can it be the solution?

We can expect some pretty dire public services if they do make cuts. They didn't appear to improve much while spending was on the up but they'll ratchet down to unbelieveable levels when their new-found levels of inefficiency meet with caps on budgets.

I reckon we're eventually in for a re-run of the downfall of Callaghan's Labour government in 1979.

I would suggest that people have a little read of this article

http://www.economicshelp.org/2008/03/national-debt-statistics-problem-of.html

As some may know, I keep a little eye on the big financial side of things.......and the above hits home just how big a mess we are all in.

Why am I not surprised at this.
Who was that fiddled while Rome burnt ?

I no we want him out of office, but like someone on here said, I want them to face the music, be in power when it really hits the fan.

I have allways voted in every election I can, but I must say I don't want to vote this time. I can't stand any of them. It would appear to be replacing one criminal idiot with another.

Still undecided voter.  >:(

Some good reading there - i actually forgot about the mobile licences being sold off ( 3g licenses)

I know we paid several billion on ours and obviously the rest paid similar.....wonder where that (speculative) 20-25billion went  ::)

This put me into a cold sweat:

Quote
Last year the government spent £31 bn on interest payments alone.

Quote
Government borrowing for 2007/08 is forecast to be £42 billion

So, we're borrowing to pay the interest on our borrowing, plus a little beer money?
