i dated an Iranian woman about 6yrs ago who was in an arranged marriage. while he was away on business in Iran his brothers raped her and her husband didn't bat an eyelid over it. She was such a lovely woman and unfortunately she was badly scarred over it and we didn't date that long. i really liked her as well.

I know a young Indian lass ( I did used to do work for the family ) who is "promised" to some f*cker in India somewhere 
This and having to haggle with him everytime he wanted some work doing made me pish him off a few years ago

Female genital mutilation is already illegal in this country, but apparently plenty of backstreet doctors performing this butchery in the UK, and to date their have been no prosecutions. 

So, don't hold your breath waiting for any prosecutions, once this becomes law.

Personally I think it should be they have prove they can integrate by speaking a minimum of Level 3 English, pass our residency exam and have a medical to show you have no infectious diseases, then prove you have the resources to pay for accommodation and to live, where you receive no benefits until they have worked here for at least 5 years, BEFORE they are even issued with a visa.

Also all asylum applications should be automatically refused, if the UK is not your first point of entry / nearest safe country from the country they have left.

Iirc, that is what the Asylum law states.

I watched that border agency pro a few weeks ago and after refusing people entry they were openly encouriging them to apply for asylum then letting them in.  WTF They should be sacked for that
