I keep seeing this blue convertible mk2 cortina driving about. i am unaware they ever made them. tryin to get my camera out quick enough for a pic is hard. did they make these or is it a chop shop motor

Our local chinese deliver in a nissan micra. That's a chip shop motor. :y

I think Crayford used to convert them, on the Mk 3 at least anyway. Don't know if they did the Mk 2?

crayford did use too do a coversion but there was also kit sold so you could diy.... :y

Yes they do one in the MKII. I saw one at Drayton Manor Rod & Custom show the other month.

There's a few mk2s round here. not looked after very well. but the black jps capri is very nice

Crayford did convertibles of all the Cortinas - not many left now, mind...

blue convertible mk2 saw one at motor show last year, he lives in london and has same colour, but the roof was in bad shape but the rest of the car was in good nick, said he was going to get a new roof made but needs new bars and springs made up. think have a photo of it some were.
