Climate control "quietens" after 1 hour or so
« on: 14 June 2012, 11:07:22 »

This is something new. I have my climate system completely renewed last year.
Last weekend I parked on the sun and started with a hot interior. After 10 minutes the temperature was comfotable and I was cruising in the city traffic fully comfortable(Temp set to 24 deg, blower level 2 while the external temp. was ~ 30deg)
After half an hour I left the city and drove another half an hour on the highway, which I think is much easier job for the climate control system. Then I started to feel it is getting warm inside, so I increased the blower level and decreased the temp (3 and 22C). Still not enough. At the end I had to drive with LO temp and almost maximum vent settings but wasn't good either!
My feeling was that the blower motor is getting only noisier when I set it to a higher level, but actually blows slower when I started at level 2. The air temp feels cold.  On the way home the other day it did the same. Any hints?

Did it some minutes after I arrived on the first day. It worked then till next day and 1 hour of driving. I'm suspecting it's icing on some reason and the ice blocks the air flow.
