Poverty spec?
It has all the toys inc dual zone climate control - only missing the leather but TBH thats a bonus. The leather seats in those are not very supportive and you end up sliding off the sides when cornering.
The cloth was a no cost option and IMHO the better option.

The 12v engine has been shown time and again to be the more reliable of the 3.0 engines and have enough poke to keep most people happy.

I'd love to give that a home!

It's the poverty spec because it wasn't the CD model  , I used to have exactly the same model and same age of car. ALL Senators had dual climate, but CD had air con, this car doesn't.

I stand corrected - I thought I saw the aircon switches but was mistaken.

Having said that it's one less thing to go wrong so I'd still jump at it!

Not having air con just means you don't need to take the bits out and dump them, because it'll be an R12 system and I'd be extremely surprised if it still works. Only way to make it work would be to convert to R134.

And even then you`d be lucky
