omega elite 2.2 dti ( 2003 ) climate /aircon
« on: 23 June 2012, 15:38:19 »

the climate control / aircon on my omega recently needed regassing but after only a couple of weeks it stopped blowing cold again , i took it back to my garage and after putting tracer dye through the system i was told there was no leaks in system , they did say it might be a part at the bottom of the heater matrix which would cost me nearly £ 300.00 to take dash out and a further £ 800.00 for the part which i can't remember what is was called , any ideas or am i stuck with a bill for £1100.00 on a car with 215000 miles on it , regards mike

Get it tested by a specialist aircon outfit. Garage is quoting you for a new evaporator
