« on: 26 June 2012, 14:47:22 »

hi guys, i just bought an mv6 for spares repair. had a look at it and its almost mint, the guy selling it just "fancied a change as one wants a smaller car!" needs an mot and exhaust but looking at it and the list of receipts and literature with it im 99.99% sure its gonna go straight through after the exhaust is done,. been parked up 2 months,so quick jump start and we are away...now i just got to tell the wife! ;D

cheers mate, actually its my second time on here,i was going to sell my 3.0 mv6 the other day then this turned up, later in the week the interior and wheels will make it onto my car and then the new one is off to its new owner across the road for a life of towing a caravan! must be a good day as it was sold twenty minutes after i bought it, with the new owner happy about being told about the parts being swapped. just found a vauxhall receipt for a new front grille at £160 notes! the last owner also had the steering idler replaced every year before mot time after a bad experience.... fussy is not the word!

That's where I've been going wrong then, I thought self employment was about being able to suit your self when you work...

Well done offers like that don't come round that often. Managed to pick one up on Flea bay like you say for £377 with LPG but no MOT. Have not jacked it up or looked underneath yet, but will get there.

had a better look around it today and only noticed the front bumpers different to my other mv6,its got a smaller vent underneath and the fog lights are recessed into the bumper, anyone shed any light on it for me? must say it looks nicer than the stock one on my ex plod motor so i think that will be swapped as well
