My Pop
« on: 02 July 2012, 19:09:49 »

Ready for another one?  ;D

My 1958 Ford Pop, with a Sierra 2 Litre engine. Roll cage and as ratty as F**k.

This was rodded when I bought it off a famous hot rodder (no not Jeff Beck). All I did was paint it satin black, as you do. :y

This was bought for my daughter, who drives it at car shows (since about 14) and will take it over when she can afford the insurance in a couple of years.

Pop on the right.

My first car was a '58 E93A Pop - ended up with tuned motor (10:1 CR - only 6:1 std), twin SUs, fast cam, uprated box (only 3 speed but 2nd good for 70+), lowered suspnsion with ar bars front and back (Les Bellamy suapension), runing Zodiac wheels and tyres (not the 17" skinnies) - never raced but rallied a lot.  Black as yours but shiney ;)

Nostalgia what ;)

Might even still have one or two original spares (amongst all the other crap, mainly CooperS, Riley etc I have somewhere in my garage)
