My Pain in the A**
« on: 07 July 2012, 18:38:57 »

Ok have been having stalling issues for sometime now, 1999 omega, 2ltr 16v CDX A

Today was the worse day normally it will stall and then restart and run fine till the next time. Today however Stalled 11 times coming out of a multi car park twice on the down ramp. Then the Auto gearbox went. Normally fuse number 9 but it is fine. Then stalled everytime i took my foot off the throttle, till the battery died! Now parked up awaiting tow. Any ideas ?

The only display message was the auto gearbox when it went into limp mode, I also get a coolant warning but have had that for nearly two years

Could be something as simple as a fuel filter change.

Stalling and re starting, was the cam or crank sensor? :-[ that was faulty on ours, get the codes read as on the 2.0L engine the car can still run with these faulty..... :)
