Goodbye Chris Moyles.
« on: 12 July 2012, 20:16:31 »

The fat gobbo has announced his retirement from the radio 1 breakfast show this autumn. I imagine most of you will say you never listen or have but can't stick the self obsessed pillock. You'd be quite right to, i can't disagree & won't argue with any of you on that one! Being on the road all day the radio is company. Wogan has been replaced by the most over enthusiastic case of thrush, i know Wogan was a hard act to follow but Evans first thing in the morning? I don't like 90% of the "music" Radio 1 play on any of their shows as it's mostly pop pap/dance/rap/street club bilge mix with little if any actual musical/vocal ablity other than bigging themselves up & saying "uh uh" repeatedly....WHY? Moyles loved all this while i hated it. What i loved is Moyles & his team made a unique show that at times had me in tears with their banter & idle chit chat, the best since Mark & Lard.

Yes he is VERY annoying, crap on his tv shows but he does have a radio talent & i'm going to miss his individual style in the early mornings. I doubt Nick Grimshaw will come up with something as individual as Roy Walkers car park catchphrase, song parodies & all the rest. Radio 1 will now decline into a 24hr nightclub consisting of mixes, reedy voiced little boy bands singing about something they've only wet dreamt about & disillusioned primates making simiam grunts over a "mix" they had nothing to do with.

I only ever listen to Radio 1 when Moyles is on. When he goes in september i won't listen at all.

I used to find Chris Moyles annoying at times.....i used to find him childish sometime, imo

But have you listened to Scott Miles......brilliant imo especially with his sidekicks  :)
