quick question wish bone bolts size

are they 22m and 19mm was going to change them as bush split, have the wish bones new set. is it 2 spanners and a deep socket? thanks

You need two 21mm sockets. A ratchet, a torque wrench.

You need two 21mm sockets. A ratchet, a torque wrench.

21 m.m. or a large spark plug socket!
Also best way is to go in from under the bonnet with a few long extensions...

...if you have a helper to hold the bottom but still.

I tend to do that the other way round so the ratchet stops against the plenum, breaker bar underneath :y

Always struggle with pax side one though :-\

Yes pas side has no direct line of site. Engine mount in the way is it? Never managed to see if a wobbly socket will work... :-\

Not enough room for a half inch wobble :'( end up using a mini breaker bar wedged to the steering idler, fiddly single handed :-\

see how it go's with a new one, snaped doing the pass side. bolts are well stuck on.

was going to at the time just gave one good tug and it snaped, just seeing if it would move without it but hay ho, what fun must of gone weak, be glad when they are changed, was getting abit of back and forth movement, bit more than normal.

I guess that gives you plenty of time to get the steering ball joint out from the stub axle.

If the wb bolts are stuborn the pinch bolt is likely to be a real pita I would think.
