21 m.m. or a large spark plug socket!
Also best way is to go in from under the bonnet with a few long extensions...

I tend to do that the other way round so the ratchet stops against the plenum, breaker bar underneath

Always struggle with pax side one though

Yes pas side has no direct line of site. Engine mount in the way is it? Never managed to see if a wobbly socket will work...

Not enough room for a half inch wobble end up using a mini breaker bar wedged to the steering idler, fiddly single handed

was going to at the time just gave one good tug and it snaped, just seeing if it would move without it but hay ho, what fun must of gone weak, be glad when they are changed, was getting abit of back and forth movement, bit more than normal.

I guess that gives you plenty of time to get the steering ball joint out from the stub axle.

If the wb bolts are stuborn the pinch bolt is likely to be a real pita I would think.
