Is your car often parked at Sainsburys at Tollgate ? Every time I go in there I see a silver elite with an OOF sticker in the rear window. :-\

S/L springs are a little pricey, unfortunately, but I fitted normal ones with my S/L shocks with no ill effects ;)
Very good point, and worth concidering. I'd forgotten that one. :(

Where is the spring broken.  If its just the tail then this is no longer an MOT fail unless the spring is able to escape at full droop.  Recent change in MOT regs.
But you wouldn't want to drive one in that condition ;)

To the OP - it cannot be stressed enough, replace in pairs. Same as shocks and brakes. :)

Did think about fitting standard 1's but my local garage told me they can't so they've ordered vx 1's. Cheers toledodude1973 I'm north Colchester and on the same road Is my 2.6 elite and a few doors down is a guy with a 3 litre mv6 estate

Is it definitely a 3.0, not a 3.2? ??? If it's where I think you probably see my Blue 3.2 estate quite often too :y
