Hi , keep getting ticking noise from cold after i fitted new cambelt kit , so checked timing again all ok . but lazer cranklock seems to meet the waterpump past where tdc marks line up , so gave up with that and used the marks on the crank to line up & the rest of the locking kit for the top half, still ticks . i dont know which to trust crank lock or not. HELP

did you use cam locks kit to do the timing belt change?

sounds more like ex manifold gasket to me, usual when cold then goes away when warmed up.
