Is my Omega Spec Pretty Rare?
« on: 22 July 2012, 22:17:57 »

Just wondering if there are any others out there.

2002/02 facelift MV6 - retail, not ex plod. Black MV6 leather, and all the silver trim. Manual gearbox with 3.2 engine and sequential LPG. And, as from next weekend, CID and Satnav  ;D

Indeed, the Driver involvement stick, LPG and colour screen are all my own dirty work :D

Just wondering if there are any others out there.

2002/02 facelift MV6 - retail, not ex plod. Black MV6 leather, and all the silver trim. Manual gearbox with 3.2 engine and sequential LPG. And, as from next weekend, CID and Satnav  ;D

What colour is the car?

Silver ::) probably :P

How many miles though? Anything less than 200k and I'd say nothing out of the ordinary ::) and is it really 'retail' anymore given that it couldn't actually be ordered in its current arrangement  :-\

Mine is 'factory manual' with LSD, no sunroof to leak/break, black Elite leather with cream trim highlights, Irmscher rear spoiler and MID, separate satnav, dvb tuner, dvd and 20disc cd changer, eventually to also have Irmscher twinspokes, wood wheel and possibly front bumper. 8) all of which is nice...

Or to put it another way, does yours have heated rear seats? :D

It would be if it left the factory like that.  As it is, sounds like a bog std MV6 with a manual conversion, gas conversion and (from next week) an NCDC upgrade.

Bit like my prefacelift MV6, that was bog std when I got it, but has had:
cruise
blind
heated rear seats
bose
CID
Satnav (initially CARiN, but ripped that out when I fitted CID and NCDx satnav)
Telematics phone
Trafficmaster (now defunct  :'()
Bluetooth hands free
LPG
Errr, 'tweaks' ::)
