roll on the winter hate this weather

Summer's here and now its too hot , 30deg here  Needing plenty of fluids to keep cool . Thanks for sending the heatwave CEM

today at 18 hrs (clock wrong and I dont correct it)
 

 
this is not asphalt temperature   when the car is cooled by wind on a long road
 
even the wind was burning my face
 
honestly its a bad feeling like I get a hot shower with my suits!!

Wow didnt realise the mig temp gauge would go so high  Just started to cool down now the yellow thing has set .....face all burnt and not even sat in it  The car kept its cool even in traffic for quite a long time 

cem you must be mega rich you've got 20 litres in you tank, cant remember the last time mine was off red

    I dont use omega as a daily drive.. so lpg not installed.. but the small one even with half consumption now started to open holes in my budget.. fuel here is expensive than UK

is that possible

apparently..   last night woke up at 3 am breathless.. all windows open and could go back to bed after an hour..

Its not the heat I mind its the bloody things that bite  Sat out in the garden last night and I must have had a sign over my head saying resturant is now open. Got through half a tube of bite cream just to stop them all itching

Seems that everything wants to bite me, and from visiting ex-pat parents found this stuff called AfterBiteXTRA it is FANTASTIC. It numbs and removes itching straight away. it wiffs a bit to start with. Might be on ebay, not seen it in the shops in the highstreet, might be a bit strong for us lot!

Beer on insect bites takes away the itching.

I dont think its too bad with this cool breeze today although its going to be hotter 31deg apparently  much like cem's winter heat

They all flew over here to cool off  loads of them here at least i think they are mosquito , making that high buzzing noise in your ear at night

I thought it was pretty hot outside yesterday .. until I got to the hotel room in Solihull. Fark me, it was like sitting in a sauna all night; zero airflow, no aircon, no fan. At one point I had cold, wet towels all over me and I was sweating like a whore in a nunnery.

Good job I wasn't trying to make a good impression on my (relatively new) girlfriend or anything..

cem, that is the thing that gets me in hot weather. I reckon anything over 26 deg C in bedroom is useless for sleep. Good luck with your 34 deg C.

I used to think it was very quaint that the Spanish have a little sleep (siesta) in the afternoon but it is so hard to get enough sleep each day as the best time for working (early mnorning ) is also the best coolest time for trying to sleep.

That's exactly how I'd describe my condition on arriving at the gliding club last night (7.5 miles in this heat by bicycle - what was I thinking?).

Luckily, the first job was winch driving, and the cabs are air conditioned.
