« on: 26 July 2012, 10:28:12 »

I have just purchased a Omega 2.6 V6 Elite and the passenger seat doesnt work at all.  the heated seat is working but cannot move it up or down, forward or back or tilt the back rest.  i have checked the connections and cannot see any loose connections there but would ike this resolving.  can anyone help me in the right direction please?

I have checked the wiring under the seat and it all looks in order.  there are several plugs under there but i am not sure which is the main supply.  if i unplug a motor and place a 12Vdc supply to it will that be ok or is the motor on a reduced supply?  least it will tel me if the motors are working or not

I have checked the wiring again and there is no supply to the switch.  however according to the manual the fuse is the same for the passengers as the drivers and since the drivers is working it cannot be a fuse.  does the supply come from the driver seat or is it direct from the fuse?

Eventually got this sorted today.  i removed the cover next to the seat and found a plug had come lose.  this plug was between the seat and the door sill amd didnt realise that it was there  so all working correctly and happy ;D :D
