Fault Codes
« on: 28 July 2012, 11:02:50 »

Hi, does anyone know where i can find more info on fault codes? i had a MAF meter fitted last week which cured my long lasting problem with stalling and loss of power, after it was fitted the engine management light came on and stayed on. my mechanic had a look run a scan and found a code 53?! something to do with intake manilfold??

Any light shed will be appreciated :)

There's a list in the Maintenance Guides :y

But here's the list you want: http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/index.php?topic=90524.0  ;)

I'm guessing it was a 63 not 53?

Multiram issue IIRC... Check the plugs are seated correctly and check the operation :y

Code 59, intake manifold valve 1. Make sure the connector at the back of the plenum, passenger side is plugged into the small solenoid valve. Circled yellow in pic
