From memory. First we had the letter at the end of the registration.......GUK 571C......My old Dad's 1965 Corsair 2000GT V4.

Then we  had the letter at the start of the registration......So we had a 1963 A reg car and an A reg 1983 car.....(I think)

Seem to recall they changed registrations every 1st August, too.

But that was before age related plates ::) ::) I had a 1963 Mini reg 6677UP but some 1963 cars had an 'A' suffix, think it was 1965 'C' when they all went age related.......till 2000 when it got complicated.... :D :D :D

1st September will be the new reg and it'll be a 62 plate.

The registrations go like this, everything from the 1st March up until August 30th will go up in single digits from number 13 (As of March 2013) until we reach a 50 plate.

Every car registered from September until 28/29 February onwards will go up from 62 (As of September 2012).

They started on a 51 plate, and how they've done means, we will be fine for reg numbers until we reach number 99 at which time, they'll have to think of something else  ;D.

If that makes sense?  ;D.
