Estate Tow Bar Question
« on: 02 August 2012, 17:32:12 »

This is my tow bar arrangement

My question is- is this bar (below) that fits under the car behind the tank solid or hollow box section?
The reason I ask is because the one above is solid & weighs quite a few kilo & if this one's also solid then the extra weight will be just silly :o

Its hollow box as far as I am aware,If it was all solid bar it would weigh as much as the car :o

I'm a steel fabricator by trade & I've worked on solid bar this thick & it would weigh a stupid amount which is why I'm asking :-\

We're all saying hollow & that'll do for me :) :)

Thanks chaps :y :y

I don't really wana take it off for now & the fact that it's hollow allows me to leave it on. Other wise it would be getting changed for another of less weight ;)
