Although if you're using a 1/2"->3/8" adapter and a 3/8" drive socket .. you might end up snapping that part.

Mmmm. Given the amount of force being applied and the possible consequences of it being suddenly exerted onto a bare knuckle, I think I'd get a quality 1/2" socket for the the head bolts and be done with adaptors.

and ive got a 2 foot half inch drive torque wrench here if you wanna meet half way
