Sad day - My omega leaves me
« on: 12 August 2012, 19:11:39 »

Today is a sad day as I've now sold my mig :(

Couldn't justify keeping it any longer.

Thankfully someone took it off me from the forum so I know it'll be looked after and live to drive many more miles - and most importantly it was saved from the scrapyard.

I kept watching you FS thread & your plea to sell. Why did you have to sell?

Hi Pete,
The mig had to go for a few reasons, we already have a family car here and I've had to switch from the mig to a motorbike for the work commute (fuel cost and traffic).

As Danny will find there is nothing wrong with the car (other than a noisy droplink/steering arm).

It's sat on the drive for 3months now without turning a wheel, it'll only have sat there for another 3+ months so why keep it?
Also we are having the drive dug up next week for new drains meaning I'd have to park it on the street for 1-2weeks. No tax means thats out of the question.

It's sad but I'd rather someone used it and kept it going - it was destined for the scrap yard next weekend had it of not sold :(

Likewise - I would have been gutted given that there don't seem to be as many on the road as I remember  :y
