radiator fan
« on: 12 August 2012, 20:59:06 »

Hi all. The main fan behind the radiator is on all the time regardless of engine temperature and comes on as soon as the ignition switch is turned. I  disconnected the wire from the sensor at the top of the radiator and the fan still came on and I have also obtained another relay from a scrap car which also had no effect so i wonder if anybody had any ideas as to what the possible cause could be. Regards,Keith.

Hi. By ECO I assume you mean the ECO button on the air conditioning which I pressed and had no effect on the main radiator fan which just kept running. Any other suggestions as to what the problem could be would be greatly appreciated. Regards, keith.
